Sunshine & Tulips All Purpose Card |
|
W hat would you use this pretty card for? Using the Sunshine & Tulips die and a paper from Splash of Sparkles paper you can easily make this card. I love to have cards available that I can add a sentiment to make the kind of card I need at the time.
Card Base: Cut Basic White 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Die cut with the Sunshine & Tulips die. Emboss the die cut card front with Beautiful Patterns embossing folder.
Card Front: I used this paper from the Splash of Sparkles Designer Series Paper. To make the colors and gold show through the tulip cut outs, I cut ¾ off the top of the paper. Then I cut a piece 4 ¾, from this piece cut pieces 3 ¾ wide starting where the all 4 stripes showed. So you have pieces that are 3 ¾ X 4 ¾. I also cut ½ strip from the remaining piece to use on the card insert.
On the back of the embossed card front, place a Stampin’ Dimensional in each corner and add two on each row as shown.
Attach the embossed die cut white card front to the Splash of Sparkles Designer Series Paper. Add both papers to the Basic White card base. Add 3 Gold Flower embellishments to the card front.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Emboss the envelope flap with the Beautiful Patterns embossing folder.
