St. Patrick’s Double Tag card |
|
I love the mix of specialty paper with the gold edge tags to make a St. Patrick’s Day card.
Card Base: Cut Shy Shamrock 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Shy Shamrock stripe paper from Pleasant Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss the card mat with the Forever Plaid embossing folder. Attach the embossed card mat to the Shy Shamrock card base.
Card Front: Stamp “You’re Gold” sentiment with Shy Shamrock ink on square tag from A Touch of Gold Tags Mix & Match Speciality Ephemera. Stamp Shamrock image from Seasonal Celebrations stamp set with Shy Shamrock ink on large tag from A Touch of Gold Tags Mix & Match Speciality Ephemera.
Cut two 5” pieces of white & gold Bakers Twine. Use both pieces to attach the two tags together. Attach both tags to the embossed card mat with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add 3 gold Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to the larger tag.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4 (5 ¼). Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Reason to Celebrate stamp set with Shy Shamrock ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Stamp shamrock from Good Luck stamp set with Shy Shamrock ink on the lower left corner of the front of the envelope.
